Situations have occurred to all of us, which, through our fault or not, affect our lives and the impossibility of solving them frustrates us.

The denial process How does it work?

When the situation is very traumatic, an internal defense mechanism occurs that separates us from immediate pain and reality to mitigate its effects. It is perfectly normal, at first you will not believe that this has happened to you, you will repeat phrases like: "This cannot be", "This cannot be happening to me", "I hope to wake up soon from this nightmare".

Little Little by little, you will begin to accept your reality and understand the consequences of the situation. It is very common that you go through recurring stages of anger and depression while your mind adjusts to this reality.

The most important thing in this stage is to accept that you are going through it. Try to show understanding towards yourself, give yourself some pleasure or "affection" so that you feel something positive during moments of depression. It is important that you do not judge yourself and that you be patient.

That situation does not happen yet, but it could happen

There is a possibility that the situation that you cannot change has not yet has happened, what you have is a constant thought of fear and anguish about, what if ... For example, before the results of a medical examination, before a meeting with your boss, etc.

The past and the probable future do not exist. The past cannot be changed, the future is full of variables that you cannot fully control. The best thing is that you distract yourself and occupy yourself with things in your present. Many times you worry about things that when they happen were not as serious as you thought they were going to be. Sometimes what could happen never happens.

Try to focus on the positives in your life. Try to occupy yourself, an unoccupied mind is a factory of worries.

Are you still afraid? Your anxiety increased?

It is important to have someone you trust with whom to talk and express your feelings. God, hes your best confidant. Put in their hands everything that you cannot change and try to forget about it by occupying yourself in something else. Because, if you cant change a situation, what use is it really that we care about it?
